Applying for a grant

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge awards grants to local, national and international charities and good causes. Grant income comes from events such as the annual Easter Monday Duck Race and the Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend which can raise up to £50,000 per year. Rotarians give their time freely and collectively spend many thousands of hours each year preparing and running the events.

Applying for a grant

Applying for a grant is a simple two stage process. First complete an online form which asks for contact details, information about your organisation and a short description (max 500 words) of your reason for applying for a grant.  At the second stage, applicants who meet the club’s criteria for funding will be invited to complete a more detailed grant application form which will be considered by a committee of the club.

Applications can be made at any time and are generally determined on a two to three month cycle. Requests for emergency grants can be determined in hours.

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge receives more applications than it can fund; inevitably, some applications will not succeed.
