The WCA plays a vital role, managing the Wadsworth Community Centre and supporting residents of Old Town, Pecket Well, Midgehole, and surrounding areas. As a charity, they are dedicated to advancing education opportunities, providing recreational facilities, and enhancing social welfare for locals.

The Centre itself is a hub of activity, boasting two function rooms, a bar, kitchen facilities, and a bowling green. From regular activities and events to private parties and weddings, there's something for everyone. Plus, it hosts exercise classes, art events, music nights, exhibitions, and more.

This grant from the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge will go towards replacing catering / bar equipment, helping the WCA in their future fundraising efforts. We are very pleased to support such a valuable asset to our community.
