Volunteers needed!
Are you passionate about making a difference in our community? Could you contribute half a day a year? Do you know anyone local who might like to contribute? If so, please share this post or pass on the details.
We’re launching an appeal for people to join “Friends of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge”, where we’re asking for volunteers to give up just half a day a year of their time, to help us in a variety of tasks, from ticket selling to clerical work, marshalling to taking care of lost children and everything in-between. It’s not about people joining Rotary, it’s simply them giving a little of their time to help with not just these 2 fundraising events, but also for all the other things in HX7 that need our help! We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute to our exciting fundraising events. Whether you’re young or young at heart, an individual, a couple, or groups of friends, we welcome your involvement
Our events, including the Duck Race and the Vintage Weekend, require dedicated effort, but they’re also incredibly rewarding. As the third-largest grant donor to local organisations in Calderdale, we play a vital role in supporting our community. Additionally, our impact extends beyond local borders—we contribute to worthwhile causes both nationally and worldwide.
Visit Rotary Club Hebden Bridge to learn more about the charities we support and the meaningful work we do. If you’re interested, please register for one of our upcoming information meetings. The next one is on March 13th in Mytholmroyd (6:00 p.m. for 6:30 p.m.). To reserve your spot, request additional details, or receive early notifications about future meetings, please click this link: Get involved!
We look forward to meeting you soon!
