Rotary Shoebox Scheme 2024
π A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Local Schools! π
The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge would like to extend a huge thank you to all the local schools that have generously contributed to the Rotary Shoebox Scheme 2024. Your efforts in filling the shoeboxes with gifts have been truly remarkable and heart-warming.
We are especially thankful to participating schools were Midgley, Calder Primary, Scout Rd & Hebden Royd, with a special mention for Calder High Schoolβs remarkable 61 filled boxes, thanks to encouragement from inspirational teacher Kimberley!
The scheme is a charitable initiative aimed at spreading joy to disadvantaged children and adults in Eastern Europe. Participants fill shoeboxes with gifts tailored for different age groups, including children, teenagers, and households. These boxes can contain items like toys, school supplies, toiletries, and warm clothing.
Thanks to your support, our Christmas consignment is almost ready to go, bringing joy and smiles to disadvantaged children and adults in Eastern Europe. Your contributions of toys, school supplies, toiletries, and warm clothing will make a significant difference in their lives.
We are incredibly grateful for your dedication and community spirit. Together, we are spreading happiness and making the world a brighter place, one shoebox at a time. π
Thank you once again for your incredible support! ππ
