Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

Do you know a young person who might have what it takes to become a dynamic leader? Could it be you?

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge is paying £525 to fund a free place at this summer’s RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) course at Hebden Hey, near Hebden Bridge. Accommodation and meals included. We are seeking a lucky person, aged 16 or 17, to spend a week developing his or her skills as a leader while having fun and making connections.

The course focuses on:

• Communication and problem-solving skills

• Strategies for becoming a dynamic leader in your school or community

• Learning from community leaders, inspirational speakers, and peer mentors

• Unlocking your potential to turn motivation into action

• Having fun and forming lasting friendships

Past RYLA awardees have often said that the course has changed their lives. “You will be challenged during the course, you will be tired, you will feel that you are sometimes being pushed to your limits but you will enjoy it – honestly!”
