Thank you so much.  Your investment will enable us to push forward with the redevelopment to our facilities, ensuring that every individual facing life-limiting illnesses receives care in an environment that honours the dignity and comfort we would all want for our loved ones when facing the end of their lives.  From all of us at Overgate Hospice, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this fantastic gift and for standing beside us as we create a legacy of care that will touch countless lives for generations to come.

Overgate’s ambitious project is transforming end-of-life care in Calderdale by creating a state-of-the-art hospice facility. The Hospice has been a cornerstone of our community since 1981, but its current facilities are no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand. The Big Build will provide:

• A new 16-bed inpatient unit with private, ensuite rooms and access to outdoor spaces.

• Expanded Day Hospice facilities to support more patients, earlier.

• Modern amenities to ensure dignity, comfort, and high-quality care for patients and their families.

With a total project cost of £12.7 million, Overgate has already raised £9.8 million, and our donation will help bring them closer to their goal!
