Mills & Hills
Those who love the rugged landscapes of the Calder Valley and the charismatic buildings that reflect its industrial past will love local artist Brian Boocock’s paintings and prints of the Calder Valley. See the images at the foot of this page.
Brian is a lifelong honorary member of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge. He has generously offered to donate all proceeds from the sale of his Mills and Hills collection to our Club’s Rotary Trust charity - a reflection of his love of the Calder Valley.
So far, sales of Brian’s pictures have raised over £5,000 for the Rotary Trust, helping to take the total raised by the Club to over £500,000 during the last 16 years.
Brian says “I have been painting the mills and hills surrounding Hebden Bridge for over 40 years and have been inspired by the changing landscape and the massive buildings which are a part of our industrial heritage. The Rotary Club has been an important part of my life in Hebden Bridge and I know that by donating my paintings to the Club they will be able to sell them for the benefit of the local community.”
