Midgley FC
The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge has awarded a £1,250 grant to Midgley United FC to support the development of their youth teams!
Midgley United FC, a cherished part of our community for over 65 years, is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for people to enjoy playing and training. With this grant, they aim to expand their junior club setup, which currently includes two mixed under-8 teams.
The club's exciting plans include:
- Creating more playing areas for additional teams
- Improving the playing surface for year-round use
- Purchasing essential equipment:
This project will benefit not just Midgley United FC, but the entire Calder Valley community. It will provide a much-needed local facility for young footballers, potentially supporting their development from under-8s all the way to open age teams.
We're proud to support Midgley United FC in their mission to nurture young talent and promote sports in our area.
Thank you to all our supporters for making initiatives like this possible. Together, we're building a stronger, more active community!
