Congratulations to Happy Valley Pride for winning first prize in the Arts and Culture category at the recent Calderdale Community Spirit Awards event! Just reward for their biggest ever summer festival in July 2023, attracting more than 4,500 local people. The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge provided a £500 grant to help support their Big Day Out - the FREE family fun day in Calder Holmes Park featuring singers, speakers, DJ’s, a craft stall from Handmade Parade, face painters and activities for kids, with an info hub and food and drink stalls - just one day in the week’s series of events in this year’s Happy Valley Pride Arts Festival
