Heptonstall Playgroup

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge has proudly donated £720 to the Heptonstall Playgroup, which will be used to purchase fold-away tables and more play equipment including a sturdy toy kitchen, a toy garden, toy farm animals and dressing-up clothes. This will significantly improve the playgroup's facilities, providing a more structured and engaging environment for children aged 0-4.

Operating every Monday morning at Heptonstall Bowling Club during school term time, the playgroup offers a nurturing space that promotes early learning, social skills, and creativity. The new furniture and equipment will not only facilitate shared meals during snack time but also create dedicated play activity stations, enriching the overall experience for the children.

Penny, one of the organisers of Heptonstall Playgroup, expressed her gratitude, stating, "That's wonderful news! Thanks so much to you and to all the members of The Rotary Club for your generosity." This donation will help foster community cohesion and support among parents and caregivers, making the playgroup a vital hub for families in the Heptonstall area.
