A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal this year and to the local businesses who helped us collect over £5,500!  Our Rotary Club members distributed and collected poppy donation boxes across local shops and businesses, and your incredible generosity will make a real difference.

The Royal British Legion does vital work supporting our Armed Forces community - helping veterans, serving personnel, and their families through challenging times.  Founded in 1921, the British Legion provides critical support including welfare services, friendship visits, and assistance with everything from healthcare to housing. They support nearly 36,000 War Disablement Pension cases annually and make around 300,000 welfare visits each year.

Every poppy you purchased helps ensure that those who have served our country receive the care and support they deserve.
