Not long until the new cricket season at Booth!

We are looking forward to seeing the outcome of our grant last year to Booth Cricket Club!

The grant has been instrumental in helping them establish and grow their new Women and Girls Cricket Team - providing essential equipment and an amazing new playing kit—proudly featuring the Rotary Club’s logo. The Cricket Club tells us that the support has also helped them to improve their facilities at Booth, benefiting not just the Women and Girls team but all the members for years to come.

Booth Cricket Club has been a cornerstone of its community for over 125 years, fostering a love for cricket across all ages and now expanding into women's cricket—one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK.

The club's efforts to promote inclusivity and community spirit are creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy cricket in a welcoming environment.

But that's not all! They eagerly anticipate a visit by England team member Kate Cross. Her presence will undoubtedly inspire young cricketers and highlight the importance of grassroots support in shaping future stars.
