The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge have been supporting Kids Out for many years annually taking disadvantaged children for a fun day out at a theme park in Yorkshire.
The first Rotary Kids Out Day Out took place in 1990 and since then Kids Out have taken up to 25,000 disadvantaged children on a fun day out every year.
The Day Out is delivered nationally in conjunction with Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) and provides the children with an experience that brings both fun and happiness into their lives. The Day Out could be as simple as visiting the seaside, zoo or theme park but for the children who attend this is often a once in a lifetime experience.
More than 100 venues and 1700 Rotary volunteers make the Day Out the success that it is. We are keen to develop the Day Out even further and are seeking your support to do so.
KidsOut would like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of Rotarians who offer their time, help and support in order to bring fun and happiness into the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children throughout the UK.
